We went to Durban and had a tour of nearby Shakaland. The famous series Shaka Zulu was filmed here and the site has been maintained as a living museum to preserve the heritage of the Zulu people.
The elephant skull lies above the entrance, and below the guide shows the traditional layout of a Zulu homestead and also the new design of a non-throwing spear designed by Shaka himself.
